For most men their jeans are the staple of their wardrobe, something they know will do for pretty much any clothing situation and something they know will go with anything you wear with them, well within reason. There are many more denim options out there as well as the humble jean, denim shorts are great for summer, and even denim jackets have had a revival this year so there are plenty of options out there.

If you’re going to spend a lot of money on designer jeans, you need to make sure you get the right fit and also a style that suits you, remember as you get older certain styles won’t suit you like they did when you were in your late teens and early twenties such as skinny jeans or baggy jeans. If you looking for a pair of jeans that will go with many different things in your wardrobe dark denim straight cut jeans will be best, darker denim not only looks smarter but also looks great with most colours.

For a casual, smart outfit, dark jeans with a crisp white shirt, boots and matching belt is perfect you have the smartness with the shirt but also the comfort of wearing jeans and matching shoes/boots and belt just finish off the look. If you want to go really casual a lighter denim, t-shirt and trainers will look great, a more relaxed cut for your jeans will also be a bit comfier!
